VEGAN YOGURT BROWNIES WITH CHERRIES

I've made so some brownies lately! And I've finally get up with a vegan brownie instruction that I'm proud of.

My not-so-secret-ingredient-because-it's-in-the-title is yogurt. I've misused plant-based yogurt prefabricated from soy and almonds (it's a mix). If you don't possess that at pointer, you can use soy yogurt or flat palm yoghurt to head it soy-free!

It's actually a really healthful basic vegan brownie instruction for all your brownie adventures. Ingredients:
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup vegan yogurt (I used sweetened soy-almond yogurt)
  • 1/2 cup plant-based milk (e.g. rice milk)
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 1 cup cherries (fresh & pitted, canned or frozen)
Instructions:
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F/200°C. 
  2. For the brownie, mix the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, brown sugar and baking powder in a large mixing bowl. Add the yogurt, rice milk, and canola oil and whisk until combined. Fold in the cherries.
  3. Transfer the brownie batter into a loaf pan lined with parchment paper. 
  4. Bake the brownies in the oven for 20-25 minutes until the top is crackly.
  5. Let them cool off, then cut them into 8 pieces and serve!
