Jalapeno Poper Crescent Cups

We object Capsicum Poppers around here!  I'll pretty much apiece jalapenos any which way they're served…  grilled, in a chilly popper dip or justified as an egg boil!



I actually piddle Chile popper dip frequently and it's one direction everyone always asks for.  I figured that synoptical yummy dip would be amazing in an casual to concur two-bite course.  Let me request you, I was proper.. these are toothsome!  I lately brought these to a organization and they were a smashing success…  and of series I was asked for the direction (so be careful to photograph a few extras)!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 package crescent rolls
  • cooking spray
  • 6 oz diced jalapenos or to taste
  • 1 8 oz package cream cheese softened
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream
  • 1/4 cup bacon bits
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onions
  • ¾ cup shredded cheddar cheese divided
  • ½ cup mozzarella cheese


INSTRUCTIONS:
Preheat oven to 375.

  1. Reserve 1/3 cup of cheddar cheese. Mix all remaining ingredients except crescent rolls. in a small bowl.
  2. Open crescent rolls, pinch seams together and cut into 18 even squares.
  3. Place crescent squares in a mini muffin pan and gently press into the cups. Divide filling between wells. Top with remaining ⅓ cup cheese.
  4. Bake 12 minutes. Allow to cool 5 minutes before removing from pan.


RECIPE NOTES
If you don’t have crescent rolls, these can be made with biscuit dough or wonton wrappers.
